COVID-19 Update:

Windsor Senior Living

UPDATE:  July 10

There are no additional cases of the virus to report at this time.

UPDATE:  June 29

We want to let you know that a total of 17 residents and eight team members have tested positive for the virus at the community.  At this time there is one resident who tested positive remaining at the community - that individual is not experiencing any symptoms - and remains in isolation.  Other residents who tested positive are receiving care away from the community and will not return until they test negative for the virus.  The team members who tested positive will remain away from the community and will not return to work until they test negative.

UPDATE:  June 22

We want to let you know that at this time there are a total of nine residents and six team members who have tested positive for the virus at the community. The residents who tested positive are all away from the community at this time and the Department of Health mandates that a resident must have a negative test for the virus before they are able to return. The team members who tested positive will not return to work until the quarantine period has passed.

UPDATE:  June 14

We want to let you know that we have received the first set of results from the COVID-19 testing we performed last week and we had five additional residents in Garden House who tested positive for the virus.  None of these residents who tested positive are currently experiencing any symptoms and they are all away from the community at this time. The Department of Health mandates that a resident must have a negative test for the virus before they are able to return to the community.

There were two team members who also tested positive and they will remain away from the community until the quarantine period has passed.  We are still waiting for test results for three residents and 14 team members and we expect to receive those early this week.  We will share the results with you if there is anything new to report.

We also want to remind you that the Department of Health will join us at the community next Thursday (June 18) to test all community residents and team members for the virus.

We are continuing to work with SERVPRO and they will treat the apartments of the residents who tested positive.  As we have shared previously, SERVPRO specializes in health care sanitation services using EPA approved methods, used by hospitals and health care facilities around the country.

As a reminder, the Enhanced Resident Protection Protocol remains in place and we will continue to check residents and team member temperatures daily.  Any resident or team member who is feeling ill should alert us immediately.

UPDATE: June 13

We want to let you know that we completed our first round of COVID-19 testing at the community. We conducted our own tests of all residents and team members in the Garden House and we expect to receive those results by Monday at the latest.  The Department of Health will be at the community next Thursday (June 18) to test all community residents and team members for the virus.

There are now three residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 and they are receiving care away from the community at this time. They will not return until they recover and receive two negative tests.  There are no team members who have tested positive for the virus.

SERVPRO has now treated the apartments of the residents who tested positive.  As we have mentioned previously, SERVPRO specializes in health care sanitation services using EPA approved methods, used by hospitals and health care facilities around the country and their work aligns with the protocols set by the Centers for Disease Control.

We will continue to provide updates and will share the results of the tests when they become available.  You can also check back here for the most recent updates.

Our Enhanced Resident Protection Protocol remains in place at this time and we appreciate your efforts in continuing to follow this protocol.   We are also continuing our daily temperature checks and want to reinforce the importance of any residents or team members alerting us immediately if they are feeling ill.

UPDATE:  June 10

We want to let you know that a resident at the community has tested positive for COVID-19.  This resident is now being treated for the virus away from the community.

We are in communication with anyone who may have had contact with this resident in the days leading up to the diagnosis and we are monitoring them carefully.  It is important to note that no other residents or team members have tested positive for the virus.

We will now have the apartment where the resident who tested positive lives treated by SERVPRO, a national remediation and restoration company that specializes in health care sanitation services using EPA approved methods.  SERVPRO is a trusted leader in the industry, used by hospitals and health care facilities around the country and their work aligns with the protocols set by the Centers for Disease Control.

We are working closely with the Department of Health and we are taking steps to have everyone at the community tested for the virus.  We will let you know as soon as we have those details.

We also want to remind you that our Enhanced Resident Protection Protocol remains in place and it is critical that everyone follows this protocol – that means no visitors to the community, meals delivered to apartments and residents remaining in their apartments.  We will also continue daily temperature checks and we ask anyone who feels ill to alert us immediately.

We want to thank you for your continued support and cooperation as we work to limit the spread of this virus.  Please feel free to reach out to the community leadership team if you have any specific questions and we will continue to provide you with updates as needed.
